Moodna Viaduct Engagement Session
I always encourage my couples to choose their engagement session locations but most of the time they default to my special nature spots. Not this time. Kate + Drew knew exactly where they wanted to head. In fact, their second date was climbing the mountain adjacent to the Moodna Viaduct. With one bottle of water. And a lot of gumption. Ha.
They were adorably sentimental as they told me the story of their beginnings, some of the dates in between and then the impending engagement. Totally a love-at-first-date type of romance. Kate is so sentimental, she thought about wearing the same outfit to our Moodna Viaduct Engagement Session that she wore on their first date. So sweet, right?!
When I arrived for this Moodna Viaduct Engagement Session, I was totally blown away by how beautiful it was there. There were big rolling fields, huge patches of gorgeous trees, a dark deep forest and a huge bridge that had these amazing tresses. I was in photographer heaven! It was literally eye candy everywhere I looked. This was my first time meeting Drew and Kate and I knew instantly that I loved them. They were super sweet and opened up to me right away. As they started telling me about their first date, a hike up one of the mountains visible from the Moodna Viaduct, I immediately loved their sense of adventure. The stories of their relationship didn't stop there. I learned all about their adventures together and knew we were a perfect match.
They are getting married at The Garrison this Summer which is a total favorite wedding venue of mine. Spending the afternoon together was such a great starting point for their wedding photography and I am glad they invited me to such a special place for them. Now I am even more excited for their wedding at The Garrison.
